The Binjiang Road river-view hotels (滨江路江景酒店) are the county’s view band: a run of river-facing hotels along the county seat’s frontage at roughly 260–400 yuan a night, whose entire product is the window — the Yangtze below and, looking up-river, the direction of the Qutang Gate. Between the four-star standard and the homestay band, this is the register that buys the river itself: a proper hotel, and the water at eye level.
The frontage’s evening is the county’s public room, and the river-view rooms are priced for that window. Locals’ advice is precise: pay for the river-facing aspect or don’t pay the premium at all, and confirm the floor — the lower river rooms take the frontage’s noise, the higher ones take the view. The morning river light is the room’s second shift.
