Wenquan Town (温泉镇, wēnquán zhèn) carries Kaizhou’s hot-spring culture (温泉文化, wēnquán wénhuà), and its hotels are where you soak the mountain out of your legs after a day up Xuebaoshan. The town is the soft landing at the end of a high, cold ridge trip.

Rooms here pair with the pools (泡池, pàochí), so the day’s rhythm is climb, descend, and steep. The water is the reason to stop, and most properties put a soak within steps of the bed rather than a separate outing.

Beyond the springs, the Immortal Cave (仙人洞, xiānrén dòng) karst and the riverside slow-stay (河畔慢宿, hépàn mànsù) give the town a second string: a cave walk and a riverbank evening when you want more than the bath. It is the place to end a Kaizhou loop, not begin one.

flowcloud would say that the mountain earns the soak, so save the town for last. All checked October 2026.
