The sea-view rooms are the reason to book. Wake to fishing boats working the bay, walk straight onto Dashawan’s sand before the day crowds, and end the day with grilled seafood under the promenade lights. Rooms facing east catch sunrise over open water – the best alarm clock on this coast.
The Stays
The resort tier is the bayside hotels above the beach: proper sea-view balconies, breakfast rooms watching the water, and lifts that open ten minutes from the sand.
The character tier is the family guesthouses in the fishing lanes: simpler rooms, warmer hosts, and dinners built from the day’s catch – the pick for travellers who want the island to feel like an island.
The practical tier is the causeway-side business rooms near the gate town: lower rates, easy parking, and the beach a short shuttle away – the compromise for off-season visits.
