Rooms above the 瓯江 Ōujiāng river take the evening light show of the stone embankments; rooms in the old quarter step out into café rows and wine shops that would not be out of place in the towns the owners once emigrated to.

The practical tier is the station-side hotels near the high-speed rail stop: fast check-in, early breakfasts, the county’s villages and stone-carving markets minutes away – the pick for pass-through itineraries.
