Qixianling Hot-Spring Stays, Beds on the Seven Fairy Slopes

The hot-spring bed of this batch sits under seven peaks. 七仙岭温泉旅游度假区, the Qixianling hot-spring tourism resort, lies in the northeast of 保城镇 Bǎochéng Zhèn, Baocheng Town, at the foot of the Qixianling Hot Spring National Forest Park – about nine kilometres from the county seat of 保亭黎族苗族自治县 Bǎotíng Lí Zú Miáo Zú Zìzhì Xiàn, Baoting Li and Miao Autonomous County, by the county government’s own 2016 figure, or about twenty minutes by car. The county’s proposal papers counted seventeen hotels and guesthouses in the resort in the early 2010s and twenty-three by 2016, and the band still works the same way: rooms from about 300 yuan into the 1,200s, and every one of them drawing from the same hot-spring field under the forest.

The water is the whole reason the address exists, and the county has surveyed it twice. The exploration report on the Qixianling geothermal field, as Hainan’s local-records archive republishes it, logged 65 to 95 degrees Celsius at the wellhead, a pH of 8.81 to 9.27, mineralisation of 361 to 411 milligrams per litre and a sodium bicarbonate profile with no free carbon dioxide – a soft alkaline soda water, in the report’s phrasing – with fluoride at 6.2 to 8.1 and metasilicic acid at 172.9 to 206.7 milligrams per litre, and about 3,031 cubic metres a day from five developed vents. The government’s reply to a 2016 proposal runs its own count: seven vents mapped and five developed, four free-flowing springs and one pumped test well with two sealed for later, water at 66 to 95 degrees, pH 8.21 to 9.02, mineralisation of 241 to 258, roughly 3,100 tonnes a day drawn through a 1,000-tonne storage tank, and the resource described as a weakly alkaline, low-mineralisation bicarbonate-type fluoride-silica medicinal thermal water good for rheumatism and skin complaints. The resort group’s marketing line for its wild-stream well quotes an annual average of 93 degrees Celsius with a peak of 97, against the survey’s 95-degree upper reading – both are printed here, and the hot-spring field itself is the one fact nobody disputes.

Two flags anchor the band. The Narada Resort & Spa Qixian Mount opened in December 2005 with a refurbishment in 2016 and a full upgrade in 2018 by the encyclopaedia account, was built to a five-star standard by the county tourism bureau’s own spa-season release, and holds 222 rooms and suites plus 49 villas on one count or 50 on the platforms’ – the two are printed side by side. The platforms read it at 4.7 across 3,538 Ctrip reviews with rooms from 899 yuan on the detail page, or 4.8 across 8,603 on the list page, and a room-plus-dinner package runs 599 to 699 yuan. Its neighbour is the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Hainan Qixianling Hot Spring Baoting, opened in 2014 with 254 rooms – 76 twins and 101 kings – buffet breakfast at 182 yuan a head and a Chinaholiday archive rate from 999 yuan with no date on it; Ctrip reads 4.6 across 1,824 reviews on the October 2026 snapshot, and the county’s 2019 spa-season release calls it the first international-brand five-star hotel on Qixianling, a claim printed here with its year attached.

The rest of the band fills the ladder. The Baoting Rainforest Fairyland Resort & Spa Qixian Mount at number 3 Qixianling Village Road, a four-star house on the platforms, spreads across more than 30,000 square metres of planted rainforest with villa-style buildings, a nest-like elevated spa pool and hot-spring water piped into the rooms; its platform readings differ by page – 4.3 across 396 reviews with rooms from 1,118 yuan on the detail page, 4.6 across 764 on the list – with Meituan at 4.5 and a 1,078-yuan average, and no single number is the truth. Below it the Longwan Juntang at number 8 Wenquan Road reads 4.7 across 1,112 Ctrip reviews and runs a Chinese-wellness line, its in-room spring pool paired with a therapist-mixed soak bag and a 24-hour butler. The Zhongnan Hot Spring Apartment Hotel, a three-star, puts a private indoor spring pool in every room with seven more in the common area, its historical reference rate 375 yuan a night. The Qixian Yaochi at number 7 inside the forest park reads 4.3 across 474; the Baoting Liyuan, formerly the Hechuan hot-spring hotel and renamed, reads 4.4 across 1,130; and the Yusu Heting lists from 342 yuan.

What the Rooms Are Like

The two flags differ in shape as much as in price. The Narada’s stock is a resort ladder – villas up the slope, main-building rooms below – and its package lines bundle dinner with the bed, which is why a package can price under the room-only rate. The DoubleTree’s 254 rooms are an international house’s inventory, twin-heavy at 76 against 101 kings, with the breakfast buffet priced separately, so any rate comparison has to say whether the 182-yuan breakfast is inside it. The rainforest villa houses sell space and water instead of a flag: a private pool per villa at the Fairyland, a private indoor spring pool in every Zhongnan room, a therapist’s soak bag at the Longwan Juntang. What the band does not hold is a beach or a sea view – this is a mountain address, and the rainforest begins at the fence.

Practicalities

Price. On 1 October 2026 the snapshot read: the Narada from 899 yuan (Ctrip 4.7 across 3,538), the DoubleTree from 999 on the undated Chinaholiday archive with Ctrip at 4.6 across 1,824, the Rainforest Fairyland from 502 on RollingGo to 1,118 on the Ctrip detail page with Meituan averaging 1,078, the Longwan Juntang and Qixian Yaochi in the middle, the Zhongnan at 375 as a historical reference and the Yusu Heting from 342 – roughly 300 to 1,300 yuan across the band. Festival weeks and winter firm the top of it. Every figure is a snapshot that floats.

Address. The band runs along 温泉路 Wēnquán Lù, Wenquan Road, and 七仙岭山村路, Qixianling Village Road, at the foot of the forest park: the Narada on 0898-83888888, the DoubleTree on the same slope, the Rainforest Fairyland at number 3 Qixianling Village Road, the Longwan Juntang at number 8 Wenquan Road, the Qixian Yaochi at number 7 inside the park. Pin by the house name and the resort road – the county seat is nine kilometres away and the resort is its own address.

Rooms. Ask for the shape you are buying: a villa on the slope at the Narada if the hillside matters, a king at the DoubleTree if the international house matters, a room with its own spring pool at the Fairyland or the Zhongnan if water at the door is the point. Check whether breakfast is in the rate – the DoubleTree prices it at 182 yuan separately – and whether your package includes dinner.

Getting there. No railway station serves the county, so the last leg is a car: 陵水站 Língshuǐ Zhàn, Lingshui station, is about 45 kilometres out and 三亚站 Sānyà Zhàn, Sanya station, about 74, both snapshot distances to check against navigation. By car, leave the Wuzhishan-Baoting-Haitangwan Expressway, expressway S10, at the Baocheng interchange and continue towards Qixianling – the county-town-to-resort run is about nine kilometres, and the S10’s Baoting stretch opened on 31 December 2020 with the full line on 26 March 2021. By bus, county route 2 runs from the county seat to the Qixianling resort, the Ting-haoyou tourist loop ties the resort to five other A-grade attractions, and direct coaches run from Qixianling to Sanya at 42 yuan and to Haikou’s Mingzhu Square at 106 yuan, so a guest here need not pass through the county town at all. Platform distances to Sanya run 74 to 82 kilometres and to the airport about 89 kilometres; all of them are snapshots to check against navigation.

Where to stay: a hillside villa at the Narada if the slope is the holiday, a king at the DoubleTree if the international flag matters, and a private-spring room at the Rainforest Fairyland or the Zhongnan if the water should reach the door – all in the 七仙岭温泉旅游度假区 resort at the foot of 七仙岭 Qīxiānlǐng, about nine kilometres northeast of the county seat.

flowcloud would say that a county which mapped seven vents and developed five has been selling the same underground water under a dozen roofs ever since, and that the correct way to sleep here is high on the slope with the window cracked, because the field runs all night and the forest is louder than the road.
