The county’s rhythm sets the hotel’s. The reserve gate lies a short drive west, the crab market starts before the breakfast trays cool, and the front desks double as booking desks – wetland boat tickets, taxi runs at five-thirty, boxes of live crabs couriered home. The value play is the station-quarter hotels: the lowest rates in town, the dawn market a five-minute walk, and the county’s noodle and barbecue streets closing late.
