Nights in Restored Old Houses: Songyang Stays

正文：松阳住宿 Sōngyáng Zhùsù the Songyang stays are the county’s famous restored-village homestays – Ming and Qing farmhouses around 丽水市 Lìshuǐ Shì Lishui City’s western hills re-fitted as guesthouses with heated floors, linen sheets and careful lighting, none of it touching the old beams. The catalog runs from the cliff-edge bookshop village of Chenshangpu to terrace-view houses above Xikeng’s cloud sea to courtyard inns inside Yangjiatang’s golden stack; what unites them is the shell – yellow walls, black tiles, hundred-year timber – and the services of a city boutique hotel smuggled inside. Owners are often returnees who restored their grandparents’ homes; breakfast comes from the village’s own fields, and fog management (which terrace sees it first) is a concierge art.
The restored farmhouse is the experience itself: original beams overhead, new underfloor heat below, a rain window fitted exactly where the old house kept its view. Guests arrive for the photograph and stay for the quiet – village nights here are black except for house lamps, and the loudest sound is the eaves dripping.

The view tier is the terrace-edge houses above the cloud-sea hamlets: floor windows over the fog line, breakfast timed to sunrise – the pick for photographers and slow mornings.
The village tier is the courtyard inns inside the golden-stack villages: original kitchens, village dinner tables, hosts who walk you to the smithy – the warm middle of the catalog.
The practical tier is the county-town hotels near the old street: full service, walkable tea shops, and the villages twenty minutes away – the pick for car-free short stays.
