Yunjin Meishu Hotel (云锦美墅酒店) is the top of the Xiannvshan stay ladder: a three-star property of detached villas inside the Fairy Mountain forest park itself, at Tielu group in Xiannv village. Where the Cuiyun Road hotels sell the shuttle, Yunjin sells the location — you are already inside the park’s forest belt, which means the grassland sunset and the 6 a.m. mist are a walk rather than a transfer. The villas are small, standalone units with their own terraces, and the trade-off is service depth: fewer shared facilities than a resort hotel, more quiet than any street address can offer.
Staying inside the park is the only way to see Fairy Mountain’s two best hours — the mist at dawn and the empty grassland at dusk after the day coaches have gone. Bring a layer: the villas are unheated in the mountain sense and summer nights here are genuinely cold. The trade for the silence is distance; dinner is either the hotel’s kitchen or a taxi ride into town.
