Mǎzhènbà xīnqū, yī jiān yī shāngchāo; yībǎi liù dào èrbǎi bā, xīnchéng yī yè. — Mazhenba new district, a room beside a supermarket; one sixty to two eighty, a night in the new town.
The Mazhenba new-district hotels (马镇坝新区酒店) are the county seat’s newest room band: a cluster of recent business hotels in the new district, running roughly 160–280 yuan a night, whose selling points are the buildings’ newness and the district’s complete supplies — the supermarkets and the shops that an old quarter cannot fit. For a county whose old town is a salt-heritage street, the new district is where the modern room stock is, and the band is the locals’ own recommendation for a comfortable night.
The new district’s advantage is practical — newer rooms, parking, and the supermarkets for the mountain drives’ supplies, which is why locals send visitors here rather than to the old quarter. The trade is the old town’s evening: the new district is a short ride from the river road, so the correct pattern is the room here and the walk there.
flowcloud would say that the county’s old quarter sells its salt street and the new district sells its supermarket — and that the smart night is one of each.
