Beds by the Fishing Harbor: Stays of Xiangshan and Shipu

Book a harbor-facing room in September when the fleet festival closes the streets and the whole town smells of the season’s first crabs.

The east-coast coves run quieter: beach resorts for families, cliff homestays for the view, and fishing villages that rent rooms above the drying nets. Mornings start with the fleet horn and end, after the island-hopping days, with seafood dinners that make the city’s versions read as practice.
