The Lianghe Academy (酉阳两河书院) is the county’s three-star luxury outlier: a from-about-911-yuan stay at Hewan Village (河湾村), Youshuihe Town (酉水河镇), where the product is the morning — the cloud-and-mist (晨起云雾缭绕) that comes off the river bend at first light. In a county whose other rooms run from 89 to 400 yuan, this is the scenery-priced night, and the price is the view.
Book it for the wake-up, not the room — the mist is the amenity, and a cloudy morning is a refund of the price the weather cannot give back. The village position means dinner is the stay’s own, and the drive back to the seat is part of the morning.
