墨江北回归线标志园 Mòjiāng Běihuíguǐxiàn Biāozhìyuán the Mojiang Tropic of Cancer Marker Park stands on a hill about 2 km west of the county town of 墨江哈尼族自治县 Mòjiāng Hānízú Zìzhìxiàn Mojiang, in the central 普洱 Pǔ’ěr corridor where the 昆曼大通道 Kūnmàn Dàtōngdào Kunming-Bangkok road runs south. The line the park celebrates is 北回归线 Běihuíguǐxiàn the Tropic of Cancer, 23°26′N – the northern limit of the sun’s yearly reach – and 墨江 Mòjiāng is the first real town it crosses.
