The Ayi River (阿依河, Āyī Hé) is a 5A-rated (graded January 2020), 90-yuan (peak) / 70-yuan (off-peak) river gorge at No. 500, Group 6, Ayihe Community, Shaoqing Street (绍庆街道阿依河社区 6 组 500 号) — the county’s flagship, and a gorge that is walked, boated and rafted rather than viewed. The visit’s layers: the bamboo-raft singing section (竹筏放歌) at about 72–80 yuan; the whitewater rafting, split into an upper “waves that stop the flying boat” reach (浪遏飞舟) and a lower “clear pools to play in” reach (碧潭戏水); the Qinglong Cave (青龙洞) karst cave; the Niujiao stockade (牛角寨) and Qilitang (七里塘) along the gorge; and a sightseeing bus at 27–30 yuan that stitches the sections together.
A gorge that runs through a valley does not give one view — it gives a sequence, and the Ayi’s management sells the sequence: the raft for the calm upper water and the singing, the whitewater for the drops, the cave for the karst underground, and the bus for the distances between. The sections are separately priced because they are separately experienced, and the gorge’s length is the point — the river is the county’s summer product from its source reach to its mouth.
The raft is the photograph; the whitewater is the wet half and the reason to bring a change of clothes. The bus sections are the logistics — the gorge is long and the walks are optional, so ride the stretches you do not want to walk.
