Zhōubái jiē shàng, chéngshì xiágǔ; Cíháng qiáo xià, xuányá bùdào. — On Zhoubai Street, the city canyon; beneath the Cihang bridge, the cliff walkway.
The Urban Grand Canyon (城市大峡谷, Chéngshì Dàxiágǔ) is the 4A-rated (December 2016) gorge that runs through the county seat itself, at Zhoubai Street — a cleft cut into the city’s fabric, spanned by the Cihang Bridge (慈航桥) and walked on the cliff walkway (悬崖栈道) pinned along its wall. Tickets run 60 yuan in season and 42 off. The product is the anomaly: a genuine gorge with the town’s buildings on both rims, which makes it the rare scenic area you can reach on foot from lunch.

The 峡谷’s interest is the juxtaposition — the cleft is a real landform, not a park, and the town grew around it rather than moving it. The Cihang Bridge is the span that turns the cleft into a connection, and the cliff walkway is the way to see the gorge’s full depth from the inside rather than from the rim. The whole visit is vertical: down from the street level, along the wall, and back up, in a landscape most cities would have paved over.

The gorge is the county’s own evening walk — the 栈道 after work, with the town’s noise above and the gorge’s quiet below. The higher light is late afternoon, when the sun reaches the gorge floor. Because the site is in-town, the practical advice is to combine it with the county-seat evening rather than make a dedicated trip.

flowcloud would say that most cities hide their gorge and this one built a bridge over it and charged 60 yuan — and that the walkway is the only place in town where the cliff is the sidewalk.
